[ ]+-Hagrids Hut-+
If you cross the lawns you'll find Hagrid's hut here, also where you take Care of Magical Creatures lessons

[ ]+-Black Lake-+
South of Hogwarts Castle, nestled between two hills, lays the lake. This is a gathering spot for many students for a lot of reason. It is one of the most peaceful places, to go that isn’t in Hogsmeade or in the castle. The sound of calm waves washing up against the shore fills the air around it. Mermaids swim below it, along with the many other water dwellers such as, Grindylows and a Giant Squid.

[ ]+-Courtyard-+
The Hogwarts courtyard is a great place to study. Located outside of the Hogwarts, the courtyard is enclosed by four walls. A fountain of a bird with its wings spread, stands in the middle of the courtyard. A few benches are set around this fountain. It is a great meeting place for all students. It is also the place that the students get together to preceded down to Hogsmeade Village.

[ ]+-The Lawns-+
The lawn’s of Hogwarts cover each side, and extended from the lake to the forbidden forest. Path ways from the steps of Hogwarts lead to the Quidditch pitch, the lake, the courtyard and the pumpkin patch. It is common for students to be on the lawns when class is not in session. It is rather peaceful in the morning, and more so at night. Even though rules prohibit students to get out of bed at night, they still do it.

[ ]+-Greenhouses|Herbology Class-+
There are at least four greenhouses where Herbology classes are held by Neville Longbottom. To get to the Herbology greenhouses, students frequently walk across the vegetable patches in the grounds. Among many others, the greenhouses have housed honking daffodils, leaping toadstools, umbrella-sized flowers, Snargaluffs, Abyssinian Shrivelfigs, Mandrakes, Puffapods, Bouncing Bulbs, Bubotubers, Screechsnaps, Fanged Geraniums, Flutterby Bushes, and a Venomous Tentacula. The first-year students are only taught in the first greenhouse; however, second-year students are occasionally taught in the second and third greenhouse.

[ ]+-Quidditch Pitch-+
The Quidditch Pitch is located behind the castle, near the lake. Three golden goal post stand at each end of this oval shaped field. In the middle of it is a white circular line where the game starts. Around the field are eight large stands that are high in the sky, for the students to watch the game. On most days the green grass of the field shimmers in the bright sunlight of day.

[ ]+-Forbidden Forest-+
Beware when you enter this forest, it tends to hide secrets. At first glass the forest doesn’t seem that dense, but venture further in and you’ll find it to be a deadly place. Wild creatures such as Werewolves, Unicorns, Giant Spiders, and Centaurs roam the forest. The ground of the forest has a blue tint to it at night. A fog usually hangs in the air at night. In he morning the forbidden forest isn’t as dangerous as it is at night.
