Here is the Entrance Hall which is one of the most exquisite sights you will ever see. Not to far is the Great Hall where all meals, and banquets take place including the start and end of term feasts cooked by the House elves. Then there is the Staff room in which a bogart once resided, and Filch's office- a student's nightmare. Also on the ground floor are empty classrooms

You might not find many Slytherins in the Muggle Studies class on this floor. You might find a few of the girls in Divination flass with Firenze...might. If you've gotten injured -I told you not to go in the forest!- you'll find the Hospital Wing here too.

This is most definitely an interesting floor. If you find your way to the girl's bathroom, you'll find your way to the Chamber of Secrets which you can't open unless you speak Parseltongue. Then there's the the Headmaster/mistress's office here. Arithmancy class, for the bright minds is here as well.

+-Trophy Room +-Defense Against the Dark Arts

Here is the third floor of Hogwarts. Don't wander down the third floor corridor, but you sill have to come here for Defense against the Dark arts. The trophy room is also here, the one Ron Weasley had to clean for detention once.

+-Ancient Runes +-The Library +-Restricted Section

You can find the Ancient Runes classroom on this floor. Here is the library, where you better not bring in any battered books or you'll be in serious trouble! Also, only older years allowed in the restricted section. There are many empty classrooms here, which you can dodge into so you won't get caught out late or for a private conversation...or snogging.

+-Charms Corridor +-Prefect Bathroom +-History of Magic Classroom

The Charms corridor is along here...for Christmas you'll spot real fairies flying about. Also, on the south side of this floor is the History of Magic classroom. Here you can come to the prefects bathroom. It is relaxing but only prefects have access here, unless one of them gave you the password.

+-Transfiguration Classroom +-The Empty Office +-The Vanishing Room

Although Professor McGonagall's office is located on the first floor, her class takes place here.
Here is an empty office which probably isn't the best place to be...of-course you could uncover things you wouldn't expect to as often happens in Hogwarts, but you still mightn't want to go there. Also on this floor is the Vanishing room, something else you might want to avoid as the second part to it is now destroyed.

+-Gryffindor Common Room +-Room of Requirement

Here is the entrance to Gryffindor common room, which is one of the towers of Hogwarts. Also you can find your divination class- depending on who is teaching you and the rather interesting Room of Requirement.

If you're from Ravenclaw you definitely come here to get to your common room- there isn't a password, just if you answer the question. There is also the Astronomy Tower, the owlery and Clock tower. There is also North Tower where Transfiguration Class takes place.

All the dark walls of Knockturn Alley is where you would find those who are still into the dark arts, even with Voldemort gone, and their favorite shopping area.

With the fall of Voldemort, all of these shops are open once more to the joy of Hogwarts students and parents. The display cases are bright as ministry posters are no longer there, and the streets are crowded and no one is afraid anymore.

Hogsmeade is the only village in Britain inhabited exclusively by wizards and witches. Hengist of Woodcraft built the village a thousand years ago in the shadow of a large, rocky mountain to hide from the Muggles who had persecuted him. The village consists of a High Street lined with thatched-roofed shops, surrounded by streets of cottages that become further apart as one gets further from the main village. This is also where the streets that the shops are connected to are.
