Normally she wouldn't keep an eye on the Malfoys, but Gaia was different and she knew that. She couldn't explain it but anybody who stood up against Narcissa was okay in her book at least she might have a chance at being someone better, being someone who could understand other people and their feelings instead of judging them. She had walked past the Room of Requirement and heard something in there as she tried to open the door, she couldn't which means someone was in there. It was probably one of the Malfoys, like Gaia.

Gaia sat in the room of requirements. It was very plain with just a sofa and Slytherin hanging. She hadn't even asked for Slytherin hanging but they went up their by themselves. Gaia was trying to read a book. A Herbology book. That wasn't going well. It all went back to her sisters and her horrible, horrible situation.
Today she hadn't even tried to look that much different than Narcissa. Her metamorphmagus powers had worked a bit different than they usually did. They did what they were supposed to but today she looked somewhat...nice. Not that she went around mean but today her hair was a really pale blond with brown highlights and it went to her waist. Half of her hair was up in a ponytail though so it wouldn't her in her eyes. Then her eyes were a clearer blue than usual. Almost like water. If anything she looked much more innocent than Narcissa regularly did.
Gaia was staring at the book confused now though trying to make sense of the words. Finally she took the book and threw it against the wall. Gaia heard someone try to open the door and surprised stood up and walked to the door. Opening it she saw Yvana Weasley. Gaia didn't know how to react. It was like now that she was the "blood-traitor" in her family she should act differently, nicer. Well, no it wasn't all that. She had become Lily Potter's friend, though Gaia doubted that anyone knew yet, and that pretty much killed family rivalries for her. Although she didn't know if they would to Yvana. Gaia didn't know Yvana much but Gaia suspected that she probably be all that amiable right of the bat to a Malfoy. Especially one that was Narcissa's twin.
"Hi?" Gaia said. She hadn't ment it to come out like a question but it had. Her tone atleast, was a normal one without any rudeness of any kind.

"Hello Gaia." Unlike her father she could be nice to the Malfoys if they didn't give her any trouble. Gaia never had been really mean to her so she could be nice to her. As for the fact that Gaia was Narcissa's twin and looked more like her now than ever, worried her a bit, but she could always tell the two apart for whatever reason. She smiled a bit as she walked into the Room of Requirement. She didn't know what Gaia was doing in here, but she certainly didn't want to get into a fight with her that was for sure. She'd already had enough problems with the other three Malfoys, although Scorpius was one of them that she could actually deal with, like Gaia. Scorpius may fight against her once in a while but the fact he loved Lily kind of worked in her favor now. "I heard about the fight between you and your siblings, Gaia, that can't have been good. Let me guess you're in here to get away from all that, and just take some time to think things through?" She could be rather polite to anybody if she chose to, especially considering she knew that Gaia and Lily had become friends, and she didn't need all hell to break loose right now. She didn't want to fight with Lily especially over something like this. It wasn't worth it, so she was as polite to Gaia as she could possibly be. She wondered what her father would think about this, although her mother would probably be very proud of her.

When Yvana walked in Gaia simply closed the door. It felt awkward a Weasley with her but considering she didn't have her sisters it wouldn't be that bad. Two of her cousins were Weasleys anyways so how bad could it be? When Yvana mentioned the fight between her sisters she instantly got mad. How did Yvana found out? Who else knew?
"Who told you that I fought with Narcissa and Lexi?" asked Gaia quietly. The anger was obvious in her voice. Either ways being angry at them was the least of it. They had called her a blood traitor. Even in front of Summer someone who was like a big sister to her. Of-course, she knew that whatever Summer was doing it wasn't good but Summer and her went back and Gaia was keeping her secret.
Gaia hoped that the fact that her and her sisters had fought wasn't all around school. Even more the reason they fought. She didn't even want to begin to imagine how everyone would react after finding out that a Malfoy loved a Potter. Or that a Malfoy is friends with the same Potter.

"It's obvious, I saw how they treated you after it. I mean Gaia you're a Malfoy, and normally if you and your sisters are getting along they don't call you a blood traitor, when you're not, and I heard Narcissa say it. Besides I know you're friends with my cousin Lily, and any friend of hers, I don't fight with at least not intentionally. It's not about the fact that you fought or the reason behind why you fought with your sisters, sticking up for your brother the way you did took real guts. I know why you stuck up for him, not because of Lily but because of your brother, you didn't want to turn your back on him like your sisters were doing to him, simply because he loves Lily, despite the fact they can't, won't or refuse to accept it." Gabby had told her plenty about the fight, after all she was cousins with the Malfoys too, but she would never tell who said it, after all she kept secrets better than anyone. She didn't use that kind of information against people, not even Narcissa. She wasn't cruel and unusual like some of the Malfoys had acted towards her. She wasn't that kind of person or a witch. "Gaia, it doesn't matter how I found out, besides, I'm not the one you should be concerned about, going up against your own sisters, I can't even imagine what that's like since I'm an only child, but you four Malfoys have been close, I mean really close since I first met you guys, and normally you always are together, the four of you or at least two of you and yet here you are alone. That's not normal, unless there is something bad going on which I'm sure there is. I'm not like Narcissa and the others, I won't treat people differently until they give me a reason to. While I may not like what they do, especially Scorpius, I have nothing personally against any of them, with the exception of Narcissa and Lexi. Those two have been on my case since I got here, but anyway.....that's the least of my problems now." That was true, her biggest problem was how to help Gabby and Lily so that neither one ended up in the hospital wing because of Lexi and Narcissa.

Gaia didn't really think that was the whole story but at the moment she didn't care. People were bound to find out anyways. This was Hogwarts after all. A fight with the Malfoy sisters? That was probably going big around the castle. Gaia knew it wouldn't be a surprise that it was Gaia who was being turned on since they all knew that even though she could be wicked she didn't hurt anyone until they gave her a reason to, that in itself made her the nicest. Still Narcissa and Gaia besides their differences had been friends for thirteen years. Except for the two or three minutes that Narcissa hadn't been born yet.
She sighed and rolling her eyes a bit she said, "Cissy and Lexi aren't that much of a problem. I can handle them, well I can't handle Lexi by myself but although I've pissed her off completely I'm still her sister. Dad...that's a different story." Then Gaia shrugged again and slowly said, "It wasn't about having guts it was just that Scorpius can't help it and he asked me for help him. It's so infuriating having two sisters who don't understand. Who refuse to understand for their brother. Someone had to understand for Scorpius and if I'm called a blood traitor for it? Whatever."
Sure Gaia was sounding a lot braver than she was. Actually she had considered apologizing to her sisters about a million times since the fight. Gaia was sure that if it weren't for her pride she would have. She'd rather have Scorpius hating her than both Narcissa and Lexi and she wasn't brave at all, she wasn't a Gryffindor afterall. It was all just pride.

"You know, I think it was brave enough that you stood up for Scorpius, even if he can be quite cruel himself, he's nothing like Lexi and Narcissa sometimes. I don't usually have a problem with Lexi, but Narcissa, that's a different story. I end up fighting her more than I'd like and most of the time it's because I'm protecting one of my cousins." She sighed a bit as Gaia talked about guts and stuff, that it would be her dad who would have the huge problem with it. "Well you know, you do have other family members other than your dad, and your sisters and brother and mother. You know, and I know that family means alot, and that you and your sisters, in the time I've known you, none of you have gotten into a fight this bad, and it wouldn't be that bad if they'd just understand that Scorpius, despite the fact he is Draco's son, and the fact he's in Slytherin, he feels something for Lily and that he can't help, even I know that one. You know that part, about Scorpius reminds me a bit of Severus Snape as a matter of fact. I'm not sure what to expect but I do know that I'm not about to get Lily or Gabby in any more danger than they are in right now." To her, family always came first and then her friends too.

Gaia resisted the urge to roll her eyes when Yvana talked about her brother and sisters. She had heard the story before. Everyone always thought and said the same thing. She was used to it by now. "I know," Gaia said sighing. "I usually just kept out because it was just the Weasleys or the Potters you know? She called you guys blood traitors and I never...I never thought the same exactly. I just didn't care. It didn't concern me. But Scorpius is my brother and he looked for my help so I stood up to them and now..." Gaia sighed again.
When Yvana started talking about her father and abotu how family meant a lot Gaia closed her eyes shut for a second and opened them again. "I know!" yelled Gaia letting the pressure of it all out. Anyone who knew Gaia knew that family was the most important thing to Gaia. "Except when I go home what's really going to happen? I don't want to imagine it. It's like a full on war against me and Scorpius, more me actually, everytime my mtoher turns around. I mean my own sisters are calling me blood traitors. They told me I might as well tell the Sorting Hat to sort me into Gryffindor now."

"I know trust me, I know you were only going along with your brother and sisters, but things have changed. You should know that better than anyone, and I know you're friends with my cousin Lily, and I'm not about to start a fight with her or Gabby. Besides I know what it's like fighting within your family, it happens with mine, especially lately...although I've never fought with Lily or Gabby really bad, but still arguements do tend to happen. It's perfectly normal, but you did the right thing standing up for your brother like that. Just because Narcissa and Lexi don't understand it doesn't mean you did the wrong thing, because you didn't. I know you think family is important, above all things, I've seen how you treat your brother and sisters, you hold them...they're the most important people in your life, besides your parents, and then comes your other family members." She sighed for a moment as she heard Gaia yell, which was to be expected given the circumstances, but she wasn't taking any chances. She sighed for a moment and then kept an eye out. She wondered what was going to happen next. "You know, you don't have to go home during the holidays....there are other family members that you could go stay with like Gabby. I'm sure she wouldn't try anything on you. Gaia, I may not know your mother that well but your father I know plenty about and I know he's not happy given the situation but that is his problem, not yours or Scorpius'. It's his own fault he can't or won't understand that by doing what it is you both have done, makes you happy, and to him all he cares about, or at least by what I've seen and heard, that's all he seems to care about his his own self and making sure his children only do what he tells them to do. It's like he doesn't even want them to be, and excuse me for saying this, but to be their own person, you know? It's hard enough when you have enemies in the outside world who aren't related to you, but when you go home and realize there's someone within your family that's going to do something bad, you need to get yourself out of that kind of situation before it gets worse. I'm not saying they'd try and kill you, but it's not going to make your holidays or summer vacation any better if you allow them to treat you and Scorpius like that. You and Scorpius, don't deserve that. Blood traitors, it's a nasty term, the only thing I know is, while I may be classified by that status, that's not who I am. I'm a good person, I do good things, and while some of it may seem a bit troublesome and not worthy of some attention, I do tend to get what I am aiming for by doing what is right and honest. You're the only one who can change the situation you're in and make it better, Gaia. You and Scorpius both have that chance." She smiled a bit at Gaia, wondering what she was thinking, but wouldn't use Legimens on her, because she was Lily's friend.
